Ingredients

  • 800 g Mixed minced meat
  • 100 g Breadcrumbs
  • 100 ml Whole milk
  • 200 g Feta cheese
  • 1 piece Red onion
  • 1 piece Clove of garlic
  • 1 piece Chicken egg
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tsp Smoked paprika powder sweet
  • 1 tsp Dried thyme
  • 2 tsp Dried oregano
  • 1 tsp Ground cumin
  • 1 tbsp Chopped leaf parsley
  • 2 tsp Sea salt

Instructions

  • Peel and finely dice the onion and garlic, put them in a large bowl with the breadcrumbs and milk. Finely chop the washed parsley and crumble the feta cheese, also add both to the bowl. Now add the meat, the egg, the spices and the olive oil. Mix everything well and let it steep for 10 minutes, then knead again.
  • Form an oval and approx. 2 cm thick Bifteki out of two tablespoons of meat. You can prepare these on the grill or in a pan.
  • When grilling you need the area with direct heat, put the Bifteki on the grill for 4 minutes, then turn it 45 ° clockwise, let it grill for another 4 minutes. Then turn the meat over and grill it again as just described. This is how you get a great grill pattern!
  • I like to serve tomato rice, tzatziki or a delicious salad and some baguette as a side dish. So delicious!
