Tiramisu

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 150 g sugar
  • 6 egg yolks, fresh
  • 450 g mascarpone
  • 2 tbsp Amaretto
  • 150 ml espresso
  • 220 g ladyfingers
  • Cocoa powder, for dusting

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 4 hours; Total time approx. 4 hours 10 minutes

Beat the egg yolks with the sugar for 3 to 4 minutes until creamy. The eggs must be fresh! Then fold the mascarpone into the egg and sugar mixture. Add the Amaretto to the espresso, briefly dip the ladyfingers, and layer them in the dish. Instead of Amaretto with espresso, you can also use cocoa powder, for example. Spread some of the mascarpone cream over the ladyfingers. Then briefly dip a new layer of ladyfingers into the Amaretto-espresso mixture, place it on the mascarpone cream, and cover with more mascarpone cream. Refrigerate for 3 to 4 hours and let it set. Just before serving, remove the tiramisu from the refrigerator and dust with cocoa powder.
