Toast with carrots, celery, ham and mozzarella

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 slice(s) toast bread, white, thick slices
  • 4 m.-sized carrot(s), scraped and coarsely grated
  • 2 stalk(s) Celery, washed, cleaned and cut into very thin rings
  • 120 g ham, cooked, cut into thin strips
  • 250 g mozzarella, drained and cut into thin slices
  • 1 large tomato(s), blanched, skinned, stemmed and diced
  • some salt
  • some black pepper, freshly ground
  • some basil, for garnishing

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Combine the ham, carrots, and celery and season with salt and pepper. Distribute the diced tomatoes evenly among the 4 slices of toast and add the carrot and ham mixture. Arrange the mozzarella slices on top and grill until the cheese melts. Serve garnished with basil leaves.
