Toast: Wood Chopper Toast
The perfect toast: wood chopper toast recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 2 Discs Toast*
- 1 piece Potato
- 1 piece Fresh tomato
- 1 piece Fresh onion
- 20 g Finely grated mountain cheese
- Pepper and salt
- 2 tablespoon Extra virgin olive oil
- Toast the bread and place in a suitable baking dish.
- Peel and roughly grate the potato, remove the stem from the tomato and cut into cubes, peel the onion and cut into rings.
- Heat the oil in a pan and fry the grated potatoes, the tomato pieces and the onion rings. It should all be nice and brown.
- Spread this mixture on the toast, sprinkle the grated cheese over it and bake under the grill until the cheese has melted. Sprinkle the toast with parsley and garnish with a fresh tomato.
- I made an iceberg lettuce with it.
