Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 can tuna in oil
  • 1 cup herb cream cheese
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 2 gherkins
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • ½ bunch parsley
  • 4 slice(s) of bread (wholemeal bread) or rolls
  • salt and pepper
  • lemon juice
  • some margarine
  • some lettuce leaves
  • n. B. peppercorns
  • n.e. pepper(s), red or
  • Carrot(s), cut into pieces
  • e.g. pointed peppers
  • e.g. mayonnaise and/or ketchup

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Boil the eggs hard and let them cool in cold water. Place the cream cheese in a bowl. Season with pepper, salt, lemon juice, and freshly squeezed garlic. Chop 1 egg, cucumber, and onion into small pieces and add to the mixture. Finely chop the parsley and fold in. Drain the tuna well, add it to the sauce, and mash it with a fork. Spread the bread slices or rolls (cut in half) with margarine. Top with a lettuce leaf and spread a thick layer of tuna spread. For the snowmen, cut a boiled egg in half and place one half on the spread. For the eyes, press 2 black peppercorns into the egg. For the nose, press a piece of bell pepper (red) or carrot into the egg. For the hat, place a slice of pointed bell pepper on the egg and garnish with mayonnaise or ketchup and mayonnaise.
