Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 20 wafers
- 20 pieces of confectionery (Toffifee)
- 2 egg whites
- 60 g sugar
- 150 g hazelnuts, ground
Instructions
Working time approx. 40 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes
Enough for 20 macaroons
Place 20 wafers on a baking sheet, then place 20 Toffifee chocolate-side down on top. Beat 2 egg whites with a pinch of salt until stiff peaks form. Add 60g of sugar and continue beating until dissolved. Fold in 150g ground hazelnuts (or other hazelnuts of your choice) and add a full teaspoon of the mixture to each Tofifee (or pipe it onto the Toffifee with a piping bag, for example). Bake in a preheated oven at 150°C for 20 to 25 minutes.
