Tofu patties with sesame crust

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250g tofu
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • 1 bunch of parsley
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 2 tbsp breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • salt and pepper
  • 40 g sesame seeds, unhulled
  • 3 tbsp oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Drain the tofu and roughly dice or crumble it, then place it in a bowl. Peel the onion and garlic and dice very finely or press them through a press. Chop the parsley. Add the egg yolk, breadcrumbs, and soy sauce to the tofu, and season with pepper. Blend until smooth, then cover and let stand for about 10 minutes. Season with salt. Form 4 patties (meatballs) and roll them in the sesame seeds. Heat the oil in a pan, not too hot, and fry the patties for about 4 minutes on each side. Serve with tomato sauce.
