Töginger fig mustard with cheese

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 figs, fresh and ripe
  • 100 ml apple juice
  • 100 g sugar
  • 50 g mustard (Dijon)
  • 1 pinch of citric acid

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

made from fresh figs, a delicacy with semi-hard cheese

Cut the figs into small pieces, place them in a saucepan, mix with the sugar, stir in the mustard, and add the apple juice. Cook all ingredients together for 3 minutes with the citric acid added, then puree with a hand blender. Instead of apple juice, I use my homemade 1:1 apple/quince juice. It goes very well with cheeses like Gouda or mature Camembert.
