Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 250 g butter
  • 1 tube(s) Tomato paste with seasoning vegetables
  • 1 package of herbs (8-herb mixture, frozen)
  • salt and pepper
  • some garlic
  • 1 dashes lemon juice

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes

Barbecue, pasta, picnic

Bring the butter to room temperature and place it in a bowl. Add the tomato paste, season with salt, pepper, garlic, and a squeeze of lemon juice to taste. Blend the mixture with a fork or a hand blender until smooth. Then stir in the herbs (they don’t need to be thawed first). Refrigerate for about 1 hour, as the butter will soften during blending. Tastes delicious with grilled meat or vegetables, with potatoes, or simply on bread or pasta. Fresh herbs can also be used.
