Ingredients
 

  • 2 kg Very ripe tomatoes
  • 2 Onion
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 1 sprig Rosemary
  • 1 sprig Oregano
  • 1 tbsp Coarse sea salt
  • 0,5 tbsp Coarse pepper

Instructions
 

  • Roughly cut the tomatoes, season with salt and pepper, chop the herbs and add to the tomatoes, peel the garlic and onions and chop them roughly as well as add to the tomatoes. Put everything in a large saucepan and let it steep for 1 hour so that some amniotic fluid comes out of the tomatoes.
  • Now bring everything to the boil and gently bring to the boil, when everything is nice and soft, put everything through a sieve and fill in small twist-off glasses close the glasses tightly -
  • Can be used as a base for sauces, soups and dips
