Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 200 ml cream
  • 200 ml water
  • 1 bunch of parsley
  • 4 tbsp tomato paste
  • 4 tbsp Parmesan, grated
  • some salt
  • some pepper
  • some nutmeg

an inexpensive, quick recipe

Pour the cream into a saucepan, rinse the jug with 200 ml of water, add it to the cream, add the tomato paste, and bring to a boil. Add 3 tablespoons of Parmesan cheese. Simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add the parsley and season to taste. We like to serve this with homemade tagliatelle pasta. The sauce also tastes delicious with other pasta, tortellini, or gnocchi. Pour the sauce over the pasta and sprinkle with the remaining Parmesan cheese.
