Tomato Gorgonzola sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 400 g tomatoes, chopped
  • 200 g Gorgonzola, mild
  • 25 g butter
  • 1 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 1 large garlic clove(s)
  • ½ tsp sweet paprika powder
  • ½ tsp basil
  • 1 tsp vegetable broth, granulated
  • 200 ml Cremefine
  • salt and pepper
  • ¼ tsp chili powder
  • 1 tbsp, heaped tomato paste

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Dice the onion and garlic and sauté in the butter. Add the tomatoes, bell pepper, basil, pepper, chili, tomato paste, and vegetable stock and simmer for about 3 minutes. Remove the pan from the heat and add the Gorgonzola in small cubes, stirring until the cheese has melted. Return the pan to the heat and stir in the Cremefine, stirring constantly. Make sure the sauce doesn’t boil.
