Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 tomatoes
  • 1 cup of quark (250 grams)
  • herbs, to taste
  • Cream cheese, without herbs or mayonnaise (for the beetle’s spots)
  • 8 stalks of chives

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Decoration for the buffet for a child’s birthday, creative vegetables, something for the eye

Wash the tomatoes and cut off a lid from the top of each one (you’ll need this lid later). Mix the quark with the herbs and a little milk, if needed. Hollow out the bottom half of the tomato and fill it to the brim with quark. Stick two chive stalks into the quark at the front to act as feelers. Cut the tomato lid you set aside into two equal pieces (these will be the wings) and place them on top of the quark. Dot both sides of the lid with cream cheese/mayonnaise.
