Tomato – mozzarella – baked rolls

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 3 small rolls for baking
  • 1 mozzarella, as a large stick
  • 100 g cream cheese with herbs
  • 2 small tomatoes
  • salt and pepper
  • basil

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Halve the rolls lengthwise and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Spread the rolls with cream cheese—but don’t use too much. Rinse the tomatoes and slice them along with the mozzarella. Place the slices alternately on the rolls. Season with salt and pepper. Sprinkle with basil (you can also use fresh basil, of course). Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (top/bottom heat) for about 10-12 minutes (but no longer, as the cheese will melt). Serve immediately.
