Tomato-Mozzarella Casserole

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 3 tomatoes
  • 1 pack of mozzarella
  • herbs, Italian
  • oil
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • 3 slices of toast
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • 1 small onion(s)

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Slice the tomatoes, slice the mozzarella, and cut them in half. Toast the bread and place it in a greased baking dish. Mix 2-3 tablespoons of oil with Italian herbs, crushed garlic, and finely chopped onion. Spread 1/3 of this “sauce” on the bread. Layer the tomatoes and mozzarella on the bread like roof tiles, seasoning with salt and pepper. Pour the remaining “sauce” on top. Bake in a preheated oven at approximately 180°C for 15-20 minutes.
