Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 450 g flour
  • 1 packet of dry yeast
  • 250 ml water
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 can of tomatoes (400 g), drained
  • ½ tube(s) tomato paste
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1 tsp spice paste, hot or sambal oelek
  • salt and pepper
  • Herbs (e.g. oregano, basil), dried
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 5 tomatoes
  • 3 balls of mozzarella

For the dough, mix the flour with the dry yeast. Knead into a dough with the water, sugar, oil, and salt; let it rise slightly if necessary. Meanwhile, finely chop the onion and canned tomatoes. Lightly sauté the diced onion in a tablespoon of oil, then add the canned tomatoes, tomato paste, honey, and seasoning paste and simmer. Season with salt, pepper, and herbs to taste. Roll out the dough on a baking sheet and spread with the cooled sauce. Wash and slice the tomatoes, arrange them on the sauce, and top with the sliced ​​mozzarella. If you like, you can sprinkle a few more herbs on top. Bake the pizza in a preheated oven at 220°C for about 30 minutes.
