Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g tomatoes
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 225 ml yogurt, 10% fat
  • 75 ml sour cream
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 red chili pepper(s)
  • ½ tsp mustard seeds
  • 2 tbsp oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Remove the blossom end from the tomatoes and cut into 1 cm cubes. Deseed and finely chop the chili pepper. Mix the yogurt, sour cream, salt, and lemon juice well. Add the diced tomatoes, but do not mix them in. Place the bowl in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes. Toast the mustard seeds in the hot oil, covering the bowl as they will start to crack. Just before serving, stir in the toasted mustard seeds.
