Tomato rice

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 jar rice
  • 2 tomatoes, diced
  • ½ onion(s)
  • 1 shot of cream (whipped cream)
  • oil
  • ½ vegetable stock cube
  • pepper
  • chili
  • 2 glasses of water

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Fast, easy and affordable – especially suitable for students!

Cover the rice with two glasses of water and half the vegetable stock cube and simmer. Peel the onion and chop it finely. Sauté it in a pan with a little oil. Add the diced tomatoes and cook for a few minutes. Once the rice has absorbed all the water, add a dash of cream or heavy cream and cook for about another minute. Then stir in the tomato and onion mixture and season generously. Serve immediately.
