Tomato salad with Parma ham

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 450 g tomatoes
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 50 g black olives, pitted
  • 50 g feta cheese, diced
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 3 tbsp Balsamic vinegar bianco
  • salt and pepper
  • Sugar
  • 1 honeydew melon(s)
  • 25 cl wine (fortified wine)
  • 3 stalks of basil
  • 4 slices of Parma ham

Instructions

Working time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Dice the tomatoes and slice the onion into rings. Combine both with the olives and feta cheese. Make a vinaigrette with the oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, pepper, and sugar. Combine with the tomatoes, feta cheese, onion, and olives. Use a melon baller to scoop out 16 melon balls. Place them in a bowl with the liqueur wine and chopped basil and let stand for 30 minutes. Then, alternate the drained melon balls with the ham on small wooden skewers and serve with the tomato salad.
