Tomato Salad with Tuna and Egg

The perfect tomato salad with tuna and egg recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 kg Fresh tomato
  • 1 piece Fresh onion depending on size
  • 25 Milliliters White wine vinegar
  • 75 Milliliters Oil of your choice
  • 1 Teaspoon (level) Salt
  • 1 Teaspoon (level) Black pepper from the mill
  • 1 tbsp Sugar or sugar substitute like stevia but only 1/4 tablespoon.
  • 2 Can Tuna fillet in oil
  • 3 piece Eggs
  1. First of all, prepare Grandma’s Tomato Salad (see my recipe, Grandma’s Tomato Salad).
  1. In the meantime, boil 3 – 4 eggs hard and leave to cool.
  1. Open the tuna cans and put them in a colander and allow the oil to drain. I use tuna in oil because it tastes more intense. You can also take tuna in its own juice.
  1. Now chop the tuna and add it to the tomato salad carefully.
  1. Cut the hard-boiled eggs into eighths and mix them very carefully into the lettuce. A delicious salad variant is ready that tastes good and makes you full. Can therefore be eaten well in the evening if you do not want to eat carbohydrates.
