Tomato sauce for pizza

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 onion(s), diced
  • 2 clove(s) garlic, squeezed or chopped
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 can/n tomatoes, 800ml or equivalent amount of fresh tomatoes
  • bay leaves
  • salt and pepper
  • oregano
  • Basil, finely chopped

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

First, peel and finely dice an onion. Gently fry it with the garlic in olive oil, add a little tomato paste, top it up with the tomatoes, and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for about 30 minutes until thickened. Season with herbs and spices to taste.
