Tomato Sauce Made From Fresh Tomatoes – It’s That Easy

Tomato sauce made from fresh tomatoes: A simple recipe

Use a tomato sauce made from fresh tomatoes for a pasta dish, casserole, or pizza topping. You will need 75 grams of onions, a kilo of tomatoes, 30 milliliters of oil, and three cloves of garlic, salt, and pepper.

  1. Peel and chop the onions into small cubes. Put oil in a saucepan. The bottom of the pot should be covered. Add the onion pieces. Sauté the latter a little over medium heat. They should be soft and yellow gold.
  2. Cut the garlic cloves into small pieces and wash the tomatoes. Add the garlic to the pot as well and sauté until it smells nice.
  3. Chop the washed tomatoes into small cubes and then add the pieces to the pot. Mash the tomato pieces in the saucepan.
  4. Bring the mixture to a boil first and then simmer for about 25 minutes, stirring constantly.
  5. If the sauce is too thick, you can add a little more water. After 25 minutes, it should taste fruity and sweet. Season these with salt and pepper.
  6. Finally, boil everything again and add the rest of the oil. Mix in the oil until you get a creamy consistency.
  7. If you want, you can puree the sauce again to make it even smoother.
