Tomato sauce with cream cheese

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 carrots
  • 1 small onion(s)
  • 3 large tomatoes
  • ½ can tomatoes, chopped
  • 8 tomatoes, dried
  • 1 tbsp cream cheese or sour cream
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • Herbs
  • salt and pepper
  • curry powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Chop the carrots and onions and sauté them in a pan. Chop the tomatoes and add them after a while, along with the chopped tomatoes. Once the tomatoes have reduced in size, add the chopped sun-dried tomatoes and tomato paste. Finally, stir in the cream cheese and season with herbs, a little curry powder, salt, and pepper. Serve with pasta and grated Parmesan cheese. Tip: If you like, you can of course add other vegetables to vary the sauce a bit.
