Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 kg tomatoes
- 250 g fennel
- 1 tsp thyme
- 125 ml water, just under
- ½ table vegetable broth, granulated
- salt and pepper

Remove the blossoms from the tomatoes, quarter them, and add them to the water. Add the chopped fennel, broth, and thyme. Let it simmer for a few minutes. Reduce the heat to low. Blend everything with an electric hand blender. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Thickening is not necessary. This is perfect as a starter, soup, or even as a sauce. My own recipe.
