Tomato soup with meatballs

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 onion(s)
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 large can of tomatoes, peeled
  • 1 bratwurst, uncooked, coarse
  • Thyme
  • rosemary
  • basil

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Peel, crush, or chop the garlic. Peel and roughly chop the onion. Sauté both in a little olive oil. Add the tomatoes and their juices and roughly chop with a wooden spoon. Form the sausage mixture into small balls and add to the soup. Season to taste and simmer for 10 minutes.
