Tomato toast with garlic

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 slices of toast
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 4 tsp margarine
  • 1 tsp balsamic vinegar

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Slice the tomatoes and drizzle with balsamic vinegar. Peel and press the garlic. Rub the toast slices with garlic, pressing down lightly. Then toast and spread with margarine. Place the tomatoes on top. Season generously with salt and sprinkle with thyme. Serve immediately. Tip: Other Mediterranean herbs are equally suitable.
