Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 4 large tomatoes
  • Flour
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 large onion(s), diced
  • ½ cup cream
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 12 minutes; Total time approx. 12 minutes

Slice the tomatoes across the blossom and coat lightly in flour. Fry in hot oil for a total of 5 minutes on each side, then remove and keep warm. Fry the diced onions in the oil until light yellow. Pour in the cream and let it reduce slightly. Season the sauce generously with salt and pepper and pour over the tomato slices.
