Tortellini in parsley sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 pkt. Tortellini , with spinach filling, fresh, from the refrigerated section
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 125 ml chicken stock or good broth
  • 500 ml cream
  • salt and pepper
  • Sugar
  • Tabasco
  • 1 tsp lemon juice or more
  • 2 bunch parsley, flat

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Cook the tortellini for 2 minutes less than the package instructions. Sauté the finely chopped onion and garlic in oil and butter until translucent. Add the stock and cream and simmer until creamy. Season to taste with salt, pepper, sugar, Tabasco, and lemon juice. Let the cooked tortellini simmer in the sauce for another 3 minutes. Stir in the finely chopped parsley and serve.
