Tramezzini on a skewer with roast beef and pesto cream cheese

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 slices of whole-grain toast (whole-grain sandwich toast)
  • 35 g cream cheese
  • 10 g pesto, green
  • 2 slices of roast beef (cold cuts)
  • ½ small bell pepper(s), red
  • ½ small bell pepper(s), green
  • n. B. Chili flakes from the mill
  • 8 cherry tomatoes, mixed

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Remove the crusts from the slices of toast. Mix the cream cheese with the pesto and season with chili flakes, if desired. Spread the pesto cheese on both slices of bread and top one slice with the cold cuts. Place the second slice on top of the cold cuts and use a knife to cut the sandwich into 4 squares. Cut each square diagonally again to create 8 triangles. Deseed and slice the peppers, and set aside the tomatoes. Now place 4 wooden skewers alternately with pieces of pepper, bread triangles, and tomatoes; you can decide the order yourself. I only placed 2 bread wedges on each of my small skewers, but longer skewers will fit more.
