light, fast and variable

First, preheat the oven to 180°C (top/bottom heat). Then finely chop the ham, salami, onion, spring onion, bell pepper, and mushrooms, and finely chop the garlic. Place all ingredients in a bowl and mix with the grated cheese, mayonnaise, and cream. Season with salt, pepper, oregano, or pizza seasoning to taste. Cut the burger buns in half and spread the mixture evenly over all eight halves. Sprinkle the halves with a little more oregano for decoration, if desired. Arrange the filled halves on a rack lined with baking paper and place in the preheated oven. Bake for about 10 minutes, until the cheese has melted. Note: This mixture also works well with other ingredients, such as pepperoni, tuna, or even as a completely vegetarian version. Ideal as a snack between meals or as appetizers at a party.
