Trout Müllerin style

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 trout(s), ready to cook
  • Flour
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 lemon(s), half for garnish, half for acidifying
  • Fat (butter or similar)
  • 2 tomato slices
  • 1 sprig of dill

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Wash the trout (if gutted) under running water and pat dry with kitchen paper. Now add a little lemon juice to the sauce. Season inside and out with salt and pepper. Lightly coat in flour and fry in a pan until golden brown. Arrange on a plate or platter and pour over the butter from the pan (but only do this if the butter is not too dark). Cut a slice of lemon and remove the zest. Arrange on the platter/plate with the tomato slices (place either on or next to the fish). Serve as a side dish with fried potatoes or chips separately, but you can also mix and match boiled potatoes and place them next to the fish. Place the dill on the trout last.
