Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 trout(s)
  • 150 g wild garlic
  • 5 tbsp olive oil
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes

super tasty not only for Good Friday, very easy to prepare

Preheat the oven to 200°C (top/bottom heat). Wash the trout and pat dry. Grease a square baking dish with a little olive oil. Line the bottom of the dish with wild garlic (50 g). Place the trout on top and brush the top with olive oil. Season with pepper and salt. Now fill the trout with plenty of wild garlic. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and steam the trout in the oven for about an hour. We ate the wild garlic from the stuffing as a vegetable, served with potatoes with wild garlic butter and a green salad. Note from Chefkoch.de: If you don’t want to use aluminum foil, use a baking dish with a lid. Aluminum foil lined with baking paper on the side closest to the food has also been available for some time; this is also recommended.
