Tuna pasta casserole

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 80 g whole wheat penne
  • 1 can of natural tuna
  • 400 g chopped tomatoes (can)
  • 100 g cream cheese (1% fat)
  • 200 g peas, frozen
  • 1 tbsp tarragon
  • 3 tbsp cheese, grated (30% fat)
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 tbsp capers, optional

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Preheat the oven to 160 degrees Celsius (320 degrees Fahrenheit). Cook the pasta in salted water. Drain the tuna and toss it with the tomatoes, cream cheese, peas, and seasonings (and capers, if desired). Stir in the cooked pasta and pour everything into a baking dish. Sprinkle with cheese and bake for about 25 minutes.
