Tuna pizza rolls

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 2 cans of tuna in its own juice
  • 100 ml sweet cream
  • 200 g cheese (e.g. Emmental), grated
  • 1 red bell pepper(s)
  • 1 jar of pitted black olives (about 80 g)
  • salt and pepper
  • Cayenne pepper
  • 1 tbsp, sautéed Italian herbs, dried (oregano, basil, rosemary)
  • 6 baguette(s) – rolls, fresh or ready-baked

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Pizza rolls with a twist

Drain the tuna, then place it in a bowl and shred it with a fork. Deseed and wash the bell peppers, then dice them into small pieces and add them to the tuna. Drain the olives and cut them into small rings or pieces. Add them to the tuna along with the grated cheese. Add the liquid cream (a light version works, of course) and mix everything together. Season with salt, pepper, cayenne pepper, and the herbs. Halve the baguette rolls and spread the mixture on top with a tablespoon. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 10 minutes.
