tuna salad

Spread the love

Ingredients for 10 servings:

  • 3 cans of tuna in its own juice, each approx. 140 g
  • 1 jar mushrooms
  • 1 large apple, sour
  • 2 onions
  • 10 m.-sized gherkins
  • 5 eggs, hard-boiled
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 250 g mayonnaise
  • some cucumber juice from the jar

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 20 minutes

Chop all ingredients as finely as possible (the finer the texture, the better the flavor) and combine everything in a bowl. We make the salad dressing with a little of the cucumber juice, mayonnaise (if you prefer a low-fat option, you can also use salad cream or something similar), and tomato paste. Pour the dressing over the chopped ingredients and mix gently. It’s best to let it sit in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours before serving.
