Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 250 g pasta (I like to use ribbon pasta)
- 2 cans of tuna in its own juice
- 1 m.-sized onion(s)
- 1 apple
- 1 bag of cheese, grated
- 1 tube(s) mayonnaise
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes
Enjoy warm or cold
Cook the pasta in plenty of salted water according to the package instructions. Add the tuna and its juice to a large bowl. Peel the onion and apple, cut into small cubes, and add to the bowl. Immediately stir in a little mayonnaise to prevent the apple from discoloring. Mix in some of the cheese. Drain the cooked pasta and add it to the salad. Mix well and add mayonnaise to taste, just enough to make the salad nice and moist. Fold in the remaining cheese at the end. This dish tastes great hot or cold; I also like to eat the leftovers the next day. I then heat the salad in the microwave and add a little more mayonnaise to prevent it from becoming dry.
