Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 4 beefsteak tomatoes
  • 1 cucumber(s)
  • 2 bell peppers, red
  • 1 onion(s), red
  • 1 bulb(s) of fennel
  • 2 cans of tuna in oil
  • 3 tbsp vinegar
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • salt and pepper
  • Sugar
  • 1 lettuce(s), cleaned
  • 1 can of sardines in oil, with skin
  • 2 eggs, hard-boiled, quartered
  • 1 jar olives, black
  • ½ bunch parsley for sprinkling

Instructions

Working time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Dice the tomatoes, cucumbers, bell peppers, and onions. Thinly slice the fennel. Mix everything with the tuna. Mix the remaining ingredients to make the dressing and fold it in. Arrange the lettuce leaves on a large round plate, top with the dressed salad, and garnish with the sardines, egg wedges, and olives. Sprinkle with parsley.
