Turkey and vegetable casserole

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 400 g minute steak(s) from turkey
  • 1 zucchini
  • 2 pointed peppers, red
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 15 caper apples (caper berries)
  • 10 date tomatoes
  • 250 ml sweet cream
  • 250 g cheese, grated
  • oregano
  • salt and pepper
  • Olive oil for the mold

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 50 minutes

Grease a baking dish with olive oil. Preheat oven to 180°C (top and bottom heat). Chop the vegetables (zucchini, bell peppers, tomatoes, onion, and capers), place them in the baking dish, and toss with salt and pepper. Season the steaks with salt and pepper and place them on top of the vegetables. Mix the cream with the cheese and oregano and pour over the steaks. Then bake in the oven for about 1 1/2 hours. Suggestion: Serve with gnocchi and arugula salad.
