Turkey and Vegetable Skewers with Spicy Sauce
The perfect turkey and vegetable skewers with spicy sauce recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
Turkey and vegetable skewers:
- 400 g Turkey mini steaks
- 400 g Mushrooms
- 400 g Red pepper
- 400 g Onions
- 0,5 Cup Sunflower oil
Spicy sauce:
- 10 tbsp Tomato ketchup
- 5 tbsp Sweet chili sauce
- 10 tbsp Milk
- 2 tbsp Cooking cream
- 2 tsp Mild curry powder
- 1 tsp Sugar
- 1 Cup Water
To serve:
- 1 Baguette
Turkey and vegetable skewers:
- Wash turkey mini steaks, pat dry with kitchen paper and cut into pieces (approx. 2.5 – 3 cm). Clean / brush the mushrooms and cut in half. Clean and wash the peppers and cut into pieces (approx. 3 – 4 cm). Peel and halve the onions and assemble them into pieces. Thread all ingredients (onion pieces, mushroom halves, turkey meat pieces and pepper pieces) one after the other onto shashlik sticks. (Here: 9 skewers with meat and 3 skewers only with the remaining vegetables). Heat sunflower oil (½ cup) in a large pan, fry the skewers one after the other on all sides until golden-brown, place in an ovenproof dish and keep warm in the oven at 50 ° C until serving.
Serve:
- Serve the turkey and vegetable skewers drizzled with the spicy sauce. Serve with baguette.
