Turkey breast fillet in cheese cream sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 250 g mushrooms
  • 500 g turkey breast fillet(s)
  • 200 g crème fraîche
  • 200 g herb cream cheese
  • 40 g sunflower oil
  • 125 ml broth
  • 1 tbsp sauce thickener, light
  • salt and pepper
  • lemon juice
  • 4 servings of rice

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Clean, wash, and halve the mushrooms. If desired, halve the meat lengthwise and season with salt and pepper. Then brown in sunflower oil (the turkey breast fillet can also be cut into strips and served as turkey strips). Add the mushrooms, fry briefly, and remove both from the pan. Deglaze the pan with stock and crème fraîche and bring to a boil. Sprinkle in the gravy thickener and bring back to a boil. Stir in the herb cream cheese and let it melt into the sauce. Season with salt, pepper, and lemon juice, if desired. Add the meat and mushrooms to the sauce. Rice goes best with this.
