Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 400 g turkey breast
- 1 small can of pineapple, in pieces
- 1 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp flour
- 300 ml milk
- 3 tsp curry
- ¼ tsp salt
- ½ tbsp curry
- ¼ tsp salt
- 2 tbsp oil
- 2 tbsp flour
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Drain the pineapple, reserving the juice. Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add the flour and whisk to combine. Pour in the milk and stir well. Cook until the sauce thickens. Then add the curry, salt, and pineapple juice and cook for another 5 minutes, stirring continuously. Set the pan aside, covered. Cut the turkey into thin strips. Mix the flour, curry, and salt in a bowl. Add the meat and mix well. Heat the oil in a pan, add the meat, and sear. Then add the meat to the sauce with the drained pineapple and simmer for another 5 minutes. Serve with rice.
