Turkey fillets filled with Black Forest ham and cream cheese

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 turkey fillets
  • 4 slices of Black Forest ham
  • 70 g cream cheese
  • 70 g cheese, grated
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 3 tsp mustard
  • some chives
  • some salt and pepper
  • some oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 30 minutes

Cut the fillets open sideways with a knife, but don’t cut all the way through (butterfly cut). Combine the cream cheese, grated cheese, the chopped garlic clove, mustard, chives, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Spread the mixture evenly over the turkey fillets. Top each fillet with two slices of Black Forest ham. Then fold the fillets closed and secure with 2-3 toothpicks per fillet. Heat a little oil in a pan. Fry the fillets on each side until the meat is cooked through. Serve with a side dish of your choice, such as croquettes, fries, or fried potatoes.
