Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 3 chicken breast fillets
  • 3 slices of smoked ham
  • 3 slice(s) Gouda, aged
  • 150 ml broth
  • 3 tbsp sour cream
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Pat the breast fillets dry and cut a pocket into them. Season the inside only with salt and pepper and fill each pocket with a slice of Gouda cheese. Wrap the slice of smoked ham around the fillet and secure it with a roulade pin. Sear the fillets until crispy on each side. Cover the pan and let it simmer for about 10 minutes. Remove the meat from the pan and set aside. Increase the heat and use the light broth to reduce the residue. Add sour cream and season to taste. Serve with a fresh cucumber salad and baguette for the sauce.
