Turkey in lime and coconut cream

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 800 g turkey breast fillet(s)
  • 1 can coconut milk, creamy
  • 2 stalks of lemongrass
  • 2 small chili peppers, red
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • 1 lime(s), organic
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • some salt
  • some pepper, from the mill

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Cut the meat into cubes, season with salt and pepper. Peel and finely chop the garlic. Remove the outer leaves from the lemongrass and thinly slice the stems. Finely slice the chili peppers. If you don’t like it too spicy, remove the seeds first. Heat vegetable and sesame oil. Brown the meat on all sides. Add the chili and lemongrass and sauté briefly. Wash the lime. Slice and then quarter it. Add it to the meat along with the coconut milk. Bring everything to a boil briefly, then simmer for about 7 minutes. Season to taste, and add more seasoning if desired. Serve with basmati rice.
