Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes

for a casserole dish

Wash the turkey breast fillet, pat dry, and cut into 3 slices. Brush the individual slices with mustard and roll up. Wrap each turkey roll with a strip of bacon and place the rolls in a greased ovenproof dish. Bring the cream to a boil in a saucepan, then stir in the passata and tomato paste. Add the diced onion, oregano, salt, pepper, and parsley and bring everything back to a boil briefly. Spread the sauce over the rolls. Place the dish on the middle rack of an oven preheated to 180°C (convection oven) and bake for about 40 minutes. If you like, you can sprinkle grated cheese, such as Gouda, over the turkey rolls about 5 minutes before the end of the cooking time. Serve with rice, spaetzle, pasta, baguette, or mashed potatoes.
