Turkey schnitzel in cornflake breading

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 turkey schnitzels
  • 1 dl rapeseed oil
  • 1 tbsp paprika powder, heaped
  • 1 tsp curry powder
  • pepper
  • Soy sauce
  • Cornflakes, unsweetened
  • Salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 12 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 12 hours 30 minutes

Flatten the turkey schnitzel. For the marinade, combine the oil, paprika, curry powder, soy, and pepper, then place it in a freezer bag. Mix everything with the turkey schnitzel and let it stand overnight, ideally; if you’re short on time, about half an hour will do. Crush the cornflakes. Coat the meat in the cornflakes and place them, not too close together, on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake the schnitzel in the center of the oven at approximately 200°C (convection oven also works well) for exactly 15 minutes.
