Turkey schnitzel with rösti in leek and cheese sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 turkey schnitzels
  • 2 stalk(s) leeks
  • 300 g processed cheese
  • 100 ml cream or 4% condensed milk
  • 50 ml water
  • 1 shot of white wine, or more
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • 1 point potato(s) (rösti)

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Season the turkey schnitzels with salt and pepper. I fried them briefly. Trim the leek and slice it into rings. Sauté it briefly with the water. Add the processed cheese and cream (or condensed milk). Deglaze with a generous splash of wine. Place the turkey schnitzels in a baking dish and crumble the thawed hash browns over them. Then pour the leek and cheese mixture over them and bake in the oven at 180 degrees Celsius for about 25 minutes.
