Turkey strips in curry sauce

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 400 g turkey meat, shredded
  • 1 bag of rice
  • salt water
  • 4 tbsp curry
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 2 tbsp paprika powder
  • ½ liter of milk
  • 1 jar of Chinese vegetables (bamboo and soy sprouts, carrots, Mu-Err mushrooms, water chestnuts, etc.)
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 cm ginger
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 vegetable stock cube or meat stock cube
  • salt and pepper
  • Cayenne pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 3 hours; Total time approx. 3 hours 30 minutes

with Chinese vegetables and rice

Season the meat with curry, paprika, and soy sauce and let it marinate in the refrigerator for a few hours. Cook the rice in plenty of salted water according to the package instructions. Cut the onions into strips and the garlic and ginger into small, fine cubes. Brown the meat, add the onion, garlic, and ginger, and fry everything briefly. Gradually add the curry, paprika, and flour and sweat. Now fry the vegetables briefly. Deglaze everything with milk and dissolve the stock cube in the liquid. Bring the sauce to a boil and simmer until thickened. After the cooking time, rinse the rice and serve.
