Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 swede(s), 900 g
  • 200 g quark, 20%
  • 200 g jacket potatoes
  • 70 g butter
  • salt and pepper
  • Marjoram, dried
  • 2 tbsp parsley, chopped
  • 40 g breadcrumbs

Instructions

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Boil the potatoes or, if you have them, use day-old potatoes. Peel the swede, halve it, coarsely grate it, and sauté it briefly in 1/4 of the butter. Finely grate the potatoes and mix well with the vegetables, quark, and seasoning. For each serving, form about 3 flat patties and coat them in breadcrumbs. Fry the patties in the remaining butter in a pan over low heat for about 10 minutes on each side. Serve with leaf salad, lamb’s lettuce, or creamed spinach.
