Ingredients

For the roles:

  • Spring roll dough
  • Bananas
  • 1 block Marzipan
  • Rapeseed oil

For the chocolate and chilli sauce:

  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • 50 ml Cream
  • 0,333333 Chilli pepper
  • 2 handful Chocolate drops

Also:

  • Powdered sugar

Instructions

  • For the banana rolls: First cut the spring roll dough crosswise in two, so that two triangles come out. For a banana spring roll, we use an eighth of a banana, a 1 cm high and wide piece of marzipan that is as long as the piece of banana. We put the banana and marzipan stick together at the elongated end of the triangle. We beat the two corners over the banana and marzipan and then roll everything together. Before doing this, moisten the dough with a little water so that it sticks better. Bake the resulting rolls in plenty of rapeseed oil until crispy on all sides.
  • For the sauce: Mix the honey, cream and finely chopped chilli and bring to the boil in a small saucepan. Then add the chocolate drops and stir everything again.
